was a day of vacation in paradise. The sun was shining and the breeze was constant. You didn't get that salty, sweaty beach feeling at all!
Oatmeal-bacon pancakes for breakfast in La Jolla and some cove seals for a mid-morning treat.
A former local gave us the advice to take a pathway that starts at a hang glider port and leads down to a beautiful secluded beach and it was worth it! Thanks Diana!
I wish I could capture the glistening torquise blue of the shallows and the deep royal of the sea.
And it was pretty much private, except for the nudists who were showing off their privates. No photo, sorry.
Even got to swim with some local wildlife. Meet the shovel headed guitar fish, a bottom feeder that swam in just inches of water.
We relaxed and basked in sweet Mother Nature before the steep trek back to the top. We followed old route 101 north through classy beach town to classy beach town. Cliffs and hills to the right, the Pacific to the left and a patten of coffee shop, surf shop, brew pub.
Beach tour stop #2 Encinitas.
Lunch: Pizza Port Brewery
Beach tour stop #3 San Onofre State Park and camping on the bluffs looking over this.
Looks like you guys had a fun day today! Beautiful day at the beach.
